Communication and Payment Apps for Parents
Please download our MyEd app to ensure you receive important messages from school. You will be able to view your child's attendance, timetable and be able to report absences via the app.

Please check your app store for regular updates and changes to the app. Please ensure you check the app on a regular basis for messages, otherwise the app may become inactive.
Please remember to check your SPAM/JUNK folder for emails from school and mark emails as accepted.

SIMS Parent App
Please ensure your child's emergency contact details and medical information are up to date via our SIMS Parent App. It is really important we are able to contact you. You can update you details via the app any day of the week, 24 hours a day. The app has replaced the paper copy of the data collection sheet.
Please email the office on firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like more information. Please telephone the office on 01305 265651 if you have any difficulties, or are unable to download the app to request a paper copy.
Activation emails will be sent out to parents/carers directly from SIMS. The email will be from email@example.com, so check your SPAM or junk folder. Simply click on the link in that email from your tablet, PC or smartphone to activate your account. You can then login using your normal Facebook, Twitter, Google or Microsoft username and password.
If you require an additional login then please contact the school office.
From your smartphone or tablet, download the app from the Google Play or Apple App store – search for SIMS Parent. From a PC or Windows phone, login online at www.sims-parent.co.uk.
The SIMS Parent Lite app is free and is to replace the Data Collection Sheet as a result of GDPR.
To update Parent/Carer contact details, please scroll down to the ‘Contact’ section as your current contact details will appear here.
Please ignore the “telephone and emails” section, as this is for student contact details, which don’t apply to primary school-aged children.
It is very important that we have the correct details for your child. If you are unable to access these systems and need to update your data please come to the School Office for assistance.
Pay360 Education Payments previously known as 'SIMS Pay'
The system we use to make payments to school is changing names. From 26th July 2021 SIMS Pay will be known as Pay360 Education Payments.
The way you make payments will remain the same - you’ll just notice a different logo (Pay360 by Capita) on the login page and in the portal.
The link to log in will be updated to pay360educationpayments.com
When you make a payment, you’ll notice the details on your card statement will show as 'Pay360*school Dorchester Middle School (rather than ‘Capita Dorchester Middle School).
We would recommend that you add the new email address: firstname.lastname@example.org to your contacts/whitelist to ensure the emails are not marked as spam
